Manali, one of the most famous hill stations in India, is nestled at the northern end of the Kullu Valley in Himachal Pradesh. The name Manali is believed to be derived from “Manu-Alaya,” which literally means “the abode of Manu.” This charming hill town is situated at an altitude of approximately 6,750 feet, on the banks of the holy Beas River, and is among the most popular destinations in the Himalayan range.

Experiencing the scenic beauty of the hill stations surrounding Manali is truly marvellous. The region offers breathtaking views of several Himalayan peaks, including Hanuman Tibba, the Seven Sister Peaks, Friendship Peak, Patalsu Peak, and Ladakhi Peak.

Manali is not only a paradise for nature lovers but also a haven for adventure enthusiasts. A wide range of adventure sports and activities are available in and around the town. It is also a popular hub for trekking, with Bhrigu Lake, Rani sui Lake, Chandarkhani Pass, and Beas Kund Trek being one of the most well-known trekking destinations. In fact, there are countless trekking trails and adventure routes in and around Manali, making it an ideal destination for thrill seekers.
